Broadcom 4318 internal laptop wireless card

I have a Dell Latitude D510 and have just recently purchased one of these
wireless cards Broadcom 4318 internal laptop wireless card. I cannot get it
to connect me to the internet at all. Can anyone offer any assistance at all
please?
