Many of my PC’s are doing site wide broadcasts on port 135. They only come
from w98 and w2k PC.
Aside from installing XP SP2 for the firewall is there any way to kill these?

We have 7 sites joined with point to point T1’s to a central router. The
broadcasts show up in the firewalls at each site and shows only broadcasts
from the local site. DHCP supplies the IP’s.

I was wondering if I could use DHCP to supply a broadcast IP address that is
assigned to the local router. Not sure if this will work or if it will break
anything like DHCP itself
