hi,
I was using a dial-up connection few weeks ago,then I
changed into a broadband...I could surf the internet with
no problem!! download's fine, very quick!!! But there's a
problem...Windows Media Player couldn't detect the
internet connection..(I'm using USB on my modem)Before
(dial-up),when I open the windows media player it
automatically pops-up the Media Guide...but now it won't
instead it says "Get connected to the internet"..
And also when I click the auto download on my VET anti-
virus, again,it says "Get connected to the
internet"...therefore,I can't update my anti-virus!!!
I reckon these programs still detect the 56k modem's
driver..Should I need to remove the driver?

thanks for your time!!!
