I have this My Briefcase that holds a folder called "data" that points
to a shared drive mapped to H:. Shortly after it was created, H: was
changed to point to a different location. It used to point to \\drive
\original-share and now it points to \\drive\something-else.
Some files that were in there from before the switch are now
orphaned. If I try to sync the Briefcase it warns me that the sync
copy is not available. I tried deleting the Briefcase copies and they
went away successfully. They don't show in My Briefcase anymore. But
updating still gives me that error! It says "\\drive\original-share
\file_name.doc does not exist".
What's going on here? How can I tell it to just forget all about
those files?
Specifically, on updating I get:
[ 'Data' has a sync copy that is inaccessible. This folder will not be
updated until the sync copy is accessible from this computer. ]
I click OK and it shows the specific individual files, even though
those files were deleted from the Briefcase.
