I was sent a spreadsheet with some 4900 records, that has one column
containing the data for City, Prov, Country. I would like to know how to
break up the one column into three separate columns without having to do it
one record at a time. I am now down on bended knees pleading for
assistance.TIA

Hi,

Without seeing some sample data it's difficult to be precise but you should
be able to do it with :-

Data|Text to Columns

If the data are delimited with a comma as in you example simply choose , as
a delimeter and follow the wizard.

Hi Michael

Look at the TextToColumns from the Data menu, and follow the instructions.

Hopes this helps.
