probably better to
download SP3 directly
from Microsoft.com
when it officially becomes
available, sometime around
1H CY 2008

It's BETA and for testers of said BETA.
Thanks for misleading those who do not know the difference.

That is a Beta.
And as with all Beta from any source, it should not be installed by
everyone.
The nature of a Beta product is that there is some risk.

You should never install Beta anything from any source unless you are
also prepared for complete data loss and also willing to perform a
Clean Installation to resolve any and all issues.
While that is an unlikely extreme, it is the nature of a Beta product,
particularly something as major as a Service Pack.

The actual Service Pack probably will not be available until early
next year.

OK, I'll be the one to ask:

What does "1H CY 2008" mean?
