Brought home a new HP XP Media center PC.
I am cleaning the marketing promotions and changing desktop configurations similar to my old XP Home system.
Uninstal Symantec stuff. All I have installed is Windows Live Onecare and Firefox.

Trying to set the wallpaper to my old tried and try wallpaper image, when I browse to it (or ANY picture in "My
Pictures" folder), click "Open", the image does not come in and the "Apply" button stays grayed out.

I have read all the treads above.
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/921049/ send me to ...currentversion/policies/system but there is no system key folder
on this PC.

I am unsure how to proceed from here.

#!*%%$!.
I created a new user and it works correctly.
The original user "HP_Administrator" is still broke.

Then copy the data and settings from the other HP_Administrator to the new
account. When things are set up delete the old account.
