Hi!

Can someone please help out here ? I plunked down 2300$
for a brand new ThinkPad and it came sans ANY cd!

This means if I re-format the hard-drive or remove the 5GB
of IBM specific data, I'm in deep trouble, because I
cannot load Windows-XP again!

I paid for this product, shouldn't I at least have the
option of customizing it the way I see fit ?
(Imagine buying a car with the radio preset to stations
100.8 and AC preset to a very warm 85F!!)

Please help! Microsoft does not seem to have a number I
can contact them at.

Microsoft has nothing to do with this. You need to contact IBM.
