Is this fight between David Haye and Nikolai Valuev a freeak show or a fight ? The Russian is nealry 11 inches taller and 7 stone heavier. And where and what happened to heavy weight boxing..Who are these guys and where did they come from ?

Valuev has been around for a long time and has been heavyweight champ for three or four years. He was, however, only one of three heavyweight champions of the world the other two being the Ukranian Klitshko brothers.

There are three versions of the heavyweight championship at the moment. This often happens when there is no real outstanding champion such as Ali, Marciano or Dempsey.

Haye is a relative newcomer who was previously a light heavyweight. He hopes to box the Klitshko brothers (not at the same time) to try to bring about a single champion.
