Boxes I cannot delete that are over pictures and othe text.

In front page i have boxes i do not know where they came from. The boxes are over other objects (graphics, buy buttons and text). They can be resized but when done so they resize and move all objects in them. They cannot be cut with right click. The boxes distort the layout of all the items on the page that are around these boxes. How do i get rid of them and where did they come from?
