i bought new usb2.0 card...but it works as slow usb

ibought new usb2.0 card...but it works as slow usb.and if i plug something to
the usb2.0-------then the windows show that device can perform faster if
pluged into usb 2.0 (bla bla bla)

so i did a quick search in google and found something about hot
fix-...------ok i got the hot fix from microsoft ---and nothing--still the
same crap ??????
and in device manager i have too
universal serial bus controllers

first one shows--
inter (r) bla bla usb universal controller -2442
inter (r) bla bla usb universal controller -2444
nec pcl to usb open host controller
nec pcl to usb open host controller
usb root hub
usb root hub
usb root hub
usb root hub


then second +universal serial bus controllers
nec pcl to usb enhanced host controller
usb2.0 root hub device


***********but non of the usb ports work as hi-speed usb port*********
and i get this windows --device can performe bla bla bla ---from all the
ports :S

snd i have 2 ports that are slow speed
and 5 hi-speed ports ----but they all work as non hi speed

can someone help????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i cant find nothing what whould solve my problem from the web :Sand this
stupid microsoft hot fix didnt fix nothing

You have the enhanced host controller which indicates the card is installed
properly, are you using USB 2.0 compatible devices?

The cable from the port to the USB device has to be suitable for USB 2!
You can't use the original cable.

ok random ,but good to know ---anyways i might have got it right now ...

nec pcl to usb enhanced host controller
and all the usb root hubs (under it)
so i supose now it works but my cell is usb2.0 suitable so i supose its
cable is as well but it still gives the fasterbla bla thingi in windows
but never mind!:P

I have the identical problem. None of the host controllers say 'Enhanced" and
I've read enough to mean that I cannot run 2.0 even though the ports
themselves (8) are USB 2.0.
I can beleive that possibly I did something (by accident) to remove mine but
when i hear so many other people with same problem my antenna goes up as to
there must be something else going on. I bet your computer is a Sony VAIO
because your drivers you mentioned are the same as mine. Interesting. If I
get mine solved I will let you know.
