I would appreciate any information on how to get the bottom task bar to show
up. It used to be setup so that when ever the mouse went along the bottom
that the clock, and other things were shown. Therefore, when ever I am trying
to switch from one application to the next, the only way that can do it is by
minimizing the application I'm in at that moment. Any help would be
appreciated.

Some programs (IE7, Autocad, . . .) steal the bottom pixels when they run at maximized or
full screen. You can: 1. Run at non-maximized and manually adjust the window to "almost"
maximum, or 2: whack the Windows button.

Right-click the taskbar, click Properties, click "Keep the taskbar on
top of other windows". It will still hide, but will be available when
you hover over it.
