How did you get both toolbars installed?
I have the Google toolbar now. However,
when I try to install the eBay toolbar
nothing seems to happen at all. I have
windows XP home (SP2).

Hi JAX,

Reset the toolbar setting from Registry using this fix: (XP)
http://www.dougknox.com/xp/utils/xp_toolbarfix.htm

(or)

Reset the toolbar setting from Registry using this fix:
http://mvps.org/sramesh2k/reg/IEToolbar.reg

Resetting the layout solves this problem in most cases.

I have both Google and Ebay toolbars installed in IE 6.

Usually I only want one turned on to save space on the
screen so I open the View Menu and deselect one of the
two.

The names are interchanged. If I leave the EBay toolbar
checked , I'm left with the Google toolbar visible. To
turn off the Google toolbar, I have to Uncheck the EBay
toolbar.

These were both installed automatically. Is there
anything I can do to switch the names that show in the
View Menu|Toolbar so that the name which is checked is
the toolbar which shows?

I assume you have looked at view-toolbars to make sure that the ebay toolbar
is checked for display

Yes, I checked. There is no eBay toolbar listed.
