Using FP 2003
1. have created my own template and have been using it OK - until I decided
I wanted to change the background colour of the top border - I used the
commands in the format / border properties menu and can execute the colour
change, however the colour change only appears in design or preview mode,
when i go to "preview in browser mode" the colour is missing and the original
background colour appears. Further when I shut down website ( I save changes)
and re open in design mode the colour I wanted is gone! and the original
background colour has re established itself.

Can you advise actions to re store my ability to pick and choose the top
border colours

Thanks for taking a look at my question

PS - this problem is new, when I last changed top border colour successfully
was with FP2002 around 4 months ago

Changing shared borders colors or background must be done on a Windows server running the FP 2002 SE

Thank you for your reply to my question

I understand it this way - I cannot change the shared border colours on my
laptop and then upload changes to the server I use, instead I need to check
with my server providor that they re running FP2002 SE and if the answer is
yes I make changes to the border colours directly onto the remote site held
on the aforemetioned server. does that sound about right?

Thanks again for your assistance
Dave
