Border on pictures.

I use a lot of pictures on my site and put a border on them using :
Right click on picture
Picture properties
Style button
This has worked fine for long enough but now out of the blue, the Style
button is greyed out and does not work. I have tried reloading Frontpage
2003 but makes no difference. Any thoughts as to what has happened ?
