Hi,
It might have something to do with your antivirus
software. If u are set to 'scan' all drives on boot up,
the disk reader may by trying to read a card that is not
there. Just a thought... If u are not using the reader,
remove it and just plug it in when u need it...that is
what I do for all my usb devices. They are designed to
work on the fly.
