Bootpc Transmits my IP Address at Logon

I'm usig XP Home

Line from Firewall Log:
11:59:23 AM svchost.exe UDP OUT
255.255.255.255 BOOTPS Block activity for
application svchost.exe 172.188.161.23 BOOTPC
12:00:13 AM 126 bytes/s 1.6 KB 0 bytes

How do I stop these transmisions?
