booting doesn't work (hardware prob??)

Hi,

just an idea that passed my mind: Switch the cdrom drive
of the other pc which you tried to install xp on, with
the one you are now installing xp on. It could be that
its non multi-read or something like that. I can't
install from one of my cdrom drives, but in the other
drive it works fine. Try this, and let me know if it
worked.
