No, Windows XP backup disks cannot be used to boot-up a

| This is probably a stupid question but I have an older
| Toshiba laptop with windows ME. It stopped working and I
| got a new HP desktop computer with windows XP. My brother
| wants the old one but the windows ME won't boot and I no
| longer can find the disks I had to boot it with. Can I use
| the backup disks for the windows XP to erase and/or boot
| the windows ME on the Toshiba ? Or is there a way to do it
| without a recovery disk ? Thanks !!
