I am in need of re formatting my hard drive but have a
asr backup. Can I access the XP Pro ASR from the down
loadable XP Pro bootable disks? My original software was
OEM and did not include a XP Pro CD.

You can access ASR from the bootable floppies. Press F2 when prompted.
Your XP CD needs to have a valid i386 directory for this to work. ASR does
an installation first, then automatically pulls the data in from your ASR
backup.

Can I copy the existing I386 folder from the existing
hard drive and put this on a CD and then run off of that?
Is this sufficent? I do not have the original XP Pro CD
since the software was already installed on my machine.
