I replaced the drive with another one that I had laying around.
The tests, by the boot disk is not very descriptive other than the
controller ATA test Failed. All partitions/sectors on the disk are good. I
took the bad drive and put it in my test computer (computer that I test
different software on before loading to my main computer). On that
computer, I don't get any warnings at all. Seems to run fine. I guess it's
okay for testing as long as I don't fill it up with critical items that
could be lost... when/if it fails.
