I am running XP PRO SP2 but now have a problem with booting up windows OS.
When boot-up get to "Windows XP is now executing" it stops half way and then
starts to re-boot.
I have had two message's
1, cpu Vcore above 1.85v re-setting CPU or Memory Frequency in CMOS set-up
When I got into CMOS and change CPU Vcor to a less value then 1.85 it makes
no diffrence.
2, C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\rpcc.dll would this have something to do with the
Windows boot-up?

I have manage to get into "safe mode" by using F8 and trying to reset PC to
an earlier "system restore" but this has no effect ether.

Please point me in the right direction.

Thanks
Tim. (a PC novice)

looks like rpcc.dll is a virus. Since you've been infected I'd
suggest a full format, but this has more info on the virus.
