Hi all
I have just installed a new mobo. (Intel D945PVS)
I have never had this problem before with intel board or other brands.
I have Vista installed on SATA 0, Storage on SATA 1, XP on sata 2.
On my other boards I could use the boot popup menue to chose my operating
system.
But on this board it will only boot to SATA 0.
If I switch XP to SATA 0 it will boot XP only.
I do not have dual boot setup.
Each op system was installed on that HD,the only one connected at that time.
Has anyone used this board and had this problem ?
I don't see anything in BIOS to change this.
It don't matter which hard drive I set in bios to boot first it only boots
whatever is on SATA 0.
Thanks

On hdd connected to SATA 0 install any bootmanager with "drive swapping"
option and use it to boot other operating systems. I recommend BootIt
Next Generation http://www.terabyteunlimited.com . "Drive swapping" is
in fact what your BIOS do.

Hi M.
Thanks for the reply. Looks like no one else has had this problem with this
board.
I am awaiteing a reply from Intel now. I don't want to have to buy a boot
loader , this bios SHOULD do this,I have done this on other motherboards
including Intel. Don't know why this one won't.
Thanks again for the sugestion though.
