Just had a problem where my computer hangs at the "verifying DMI Pool Data"
line. MB is ASUS A7N8X Deluxe, rev 2 . Computer has worked with no problems
for months. Suggestions??

Will it boot from a CDROM/Floppy? If so, can you then change to the HD
and read directories, then go after a HD/OS problem. If you can't boot
from any source, unplug the PC and reset CMOS.
