I can get to Safe Mode, but once I choose any almost any selection, the
computer then starts its boot sequence. When I get to the blue screen that
says "Windows is starting up..." it just stops.

I have restarted the machine about a dozen times. Twice I received the blue
screen of death. One listed a problem with "beep.sys" - a problem with
PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA and later another blue screen of death said my
video driver failed to initialize.

Another option mentioned in KB 315222 worth trying is "Enable VGA mode".

Please post the complete Stop Error ( BSOD) Report.

Disable automatic restart on system failure. This should help by
allowing time to write down the STOP code properly. Right click on
the My Computer icon on the Desktop and select Properties, Advanced,
Start-Up and Recovery, System Failure and uncheck box before
Automatically Restart.

Do not re-enable automatic restart on system failure until you have
resolved the problem. Check for variants of the Stop Error message.

An alternative is to keep pressing the F8 key during Start-Up and select
option - Disable automatic restart on system failure.

If you are using a wireless keyboard and the F8 key does not work
substitute a wired keyboard and mouse for this exercise only.

I tried "Last known good configuration" and it makes it to the "Windows
loading" screen and stops. I've also tried "Disable automatic restart..." and
again it stops booting at the "Windows loading" screen.

I already discovered the wireless keyboard didn't work and have switched to
a wired keyboard. Also, in system setup under error logging it says Keyboard
failure twice.

I came across another reference to cleaning the interior of the computer. I
popped the cover off and found the Sahara in my computer. I'm going to blow
it clean, reseat some of the cards and try again.

Do you have a Desktop or Laptop computer? It could be overheating so you
should check that all fans are working and use an Air Duster to remove
any dust inside the casing.
