boot partition

      4th May 2004
I have a friends machine that has the boot partition
deleted and not sure how to reboot to windows which is now
the d drive and and has no c drv showing, os is XP home
ntfs on a dell machine.
do i have to reinstall another hd and xp to access old
install
help needed tyvm

Ted, you could try the Recovery Console. Take a look here. You are
interested primarily in Bootcfg, Fixboot and Fixmbr.
