Hi Gurus

Does anyone have a real good reference on how to boot to a mirrored volume
in case of failure?

I would like to test this out.

Thanks!

Ian

download and use - or, you could do it the Microsoft way
which is a pain.....

Hi Ian,

Look at the following Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
How to Create a Bootable Disk for an NTFS or FAT Partition WGID:491
ID: 119467

To boot to the mirror volume you just make sure that the ARC path references
that disk.

Your post is totally irrlevant to the post. The OP needs a
Win2000 boot diskette, which can be made in less than
one minute.

use hot swappable drives. If drive 0 goes down, flip-
flop the drives and boot from the mirrored drive which
becomes the new drive 0 during the flip-flop. Then you
can break the mirror, take down the bad drive and replace
it; then reestablish the mirror on a new drive.
