Hi all,

I'm able to make my first XPE. I installed it to a second HardDisk (D:\
drive)
The Embedded image works fine and boot.
But I would like to boot it single as a single drive.

If I detach the original C drive and place de D drive as the new C drive
with the XPE on.
I'm getting an error saying Disk boot failure or no disk drive present.

What's going wrong?

Danny,

When you built the image you must have change the Target
Device Settings to accomodate the D drive. Most important
set the ARC path in the target settings to point to the
D. The OS is failing because it still wants to go to the
D drive.

You must change all settings back to C and point the ARC
path back to the single HDD. Then rebuild the image.
