I can not boot from my CD. I tried Knoppix and made a floppy boot disk,
following their instructions, and was able to run it. I would like to try
PCLinuxOS, but haven't the foggiest how to make a floppy that would boot to
it. Anyone here have instructions to do this? Thanks.

I'm in the same position, only worse, I need a pcmcia.img as well, so
I can boot with support for my laptop's external SCSI CDROM.

I've asked Texstar, the author of PCLinuxOS a couple of times for
these images, but haven't had any response.

Maybe you'll have better luck. He reads and sometimes responds to
postings in alt.os.linux.mandrake, as well as the forums cited by DC.

I've even tried using the Mandrake 9.1 boot floppy, but it doesn't
recognize the LiveCD and aborts.
