Does anyone here know which book on Movie Maker2 is better, Do Amazing Things or
Zero to Hero? What is the differance in the two books
Thanks, Val

Hi Val,

I wrote half of Zero to Hero, and it was the first of the two. I was a bit
older and wiser when I wrote Do Amazing Things.... and wrote all of it.

They are both similar in that they cover the basics. Neither one covers
problem-solving. Zero to Hero is a bit more packed with info, but Do Amazing
Things gives you white space to write notes, and is perhaps an easier
reading book.

The Zero to Hero book is supported by the Friends of Ed/APress
website/forum. The Do Amazing Things book has an online companion to it,
which is part of my website....

Both of them are in Borders and Barnes and Noble.... maybe browse thru them
and pick the one you like.

Do Amazing Things is the better seller on Amazon....

Each is inexpensive.... so get both.

If you write a third maybe Val could buy 2 get 1 free

They are both good books, and well worth it.

Never have seen the "Zero to Hero" book, but have read ( and re-read) "Do
Amazing Things" Great book that cleared up all my questions on Movie Maker.
Nice work PapaJohn !

Thanks Tedd and Graham,

The 3rd one is being written.... I'm a contributing author to a book about
Windows media hacks. It'll have 100 hacks and I'm going 14 of them about
Movie Maker.

Yikes PapaJohn,
You must have one of those clocks that have 48 hours in the day !
Answering all the millions of MM questions in here, updating your Websites
and writing more books !

Any hint on what the title will be for book #3 so I can keep an eye open
for it ? Please don't call it "An Idiots guide to........" am getting sick
of seeing all those pop up on about every subject...

It'll be one of those in the Hack series published by O'Reilly.....
something like 'Windows Media Hack's.

The lead author is Joli Ballew, so you could find it under her name. She did
the Windows XP - Do Amazing Things book, the other one in our 2 book Do
Amazing Things series.
