Hi,
I'm not sure about this Roamimg stuff, but I would delete any files in that
XLStart folder. If you want custom files to start at startup save them to
C:\Program Files\Micsoft Office\Office11\XLStart (for 2003) and
Office12\XLStart (for 2007).
These are the standard setup folder for Excel. When you install Excel 2007
it should always follow the installation of 2003 not the other way around.
Second you should make sure that you do not wipe out prior versions when you
do the install. And finally, I prefer to force the Installation to a folder
of my choosing, for example, when asked if I want to change to location of
the install, I do, to something like a folder C:\Program Files\Micsoft
Office2007
