Can someone help me set up the on board LAN to connect to the internet?

No instructions on the CD ?

Is this cable or DSL ?

Some details on what you are trying to do, which ISP, what
service, and so on, would make it easier for someone to help
you. Maybe even describing what step you are stuck at, would
reduce the size of the answer someone would have to compose
for you.

I'm really surprised the whole install process isn't
automated. If you are connecting a single PC to whatever
network device they gave you, everything you need should be
on the CD that came in the box.

- Check whether the on-board-LAN is activated in the K8N BIOS.
- Uncheck all boxes in the properties of your Local Area Network
connection.
- Use the New Connection Wizard in your Network Connections to set up
your connection to the internet.
