I am running Windows XP SP2 and Office 2007 Professional Plus. I downloaded
the Disk 2 from the Small Business 2007 Trail. During installation, the
system repeatedly fails during the SQL install. The log reads as follows:

Machine : NCOSANDLT
Product : Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition
Product Version : 9.1.2047.00
Install : Failed
Log File : C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Setup
Bootstrap\LOG\Files\SQLSetup0013_NCOSANDLT_SQL.log
Last Action : InstallFinalize
Error String : Could not open key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Classes\SQLDMO.Application\CLSID. System error
5. Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your
support personnel.
Error Number : 1402

I am logged in as the administrater with Full authority over the CLSID Key
in question. I have uninstalled SQL several times. I have also updated to
MSXML 6.0 as suggested eslewhere. Any suggestions what to try next?

I ran into a similar problem consistantly when running Webroot SpySweeper. I
suspect that SpySweeper was blocking access to a registry key. I closed
SpySweeper and clicked retry. Worked like a charm!!!

Where exactly did you go to download Disk 2 with BCM. I've been searching MS
with no luck.

Does the trial version of BCM work with Office 2007 Pro Plus?

There are several places to download from. If you attended Launch 2007, the
url is included with your product key. If you have a MSDN subscription, you
can download from there. Otherwise, you might try
