Blurry screenshots in PowerPoint 2003

I have tried Insert using various modes of graphic files: GIF, JPG, TIF, BMP,
WMF as well as cut'n'paste from Windows XP Pro clipboard. No matter what I
try, the screenshot is crystal clear when viewed in a graphics editor (I use
LView), but is blurry in PowerPoint 2003.
What am I doing wrong?
Or, is there a glitch in PowerPoint?
Anybody know a workaround?
I have a screen capture illustrating exactly what I mean, but there is no
way to attach it to this question.
Thanks. If you like, you may email a reply: (E-Mail Removed)
