blurry pictures on web

All of a sudden, pictures on all websites are blurry.
I have adjusted the screen (even changed monitors) , and can see photos that
i've downloaded on my computer, but anything online, any type of picture or
graphic that is a "photo" is distrorted and blurry.
Any ideas?

Please state your full Windows version (e.g., WinXP SP3; Vista SP1) when
posting to this newsgroup.

Assuming IE7, see IE Help | Why do fonts look blurry in Internet Explorer?
(ignore the subject/see the content)

If not running IE7, do you have a dial-up connection and is a "web
accelerator" installed?
