When I use office apps and explorer the text and graphics displayed appear
too bold and stretched horizontally, more blurred than bold actually. This
is mainly apparant in word documents, wepages etc. It seems to be in all my
Microsoft apps but not others such as Firefox, which are crisp and clear. I
have used IE 7 before with a previous build with the same GFX and it was
fine, the prob seems to be something new, any ideas?
System: I have just put together a re-build of my PC with a clean install of
WinXP and some new software / hardware in the form of Office 2007 ultimate
and Explorer 7, new SATA HD. GFX are Geforce 6800 with Samsung Syncmaster
171T TFT. All drivers etc are up to date and all product updates also as of
yesterday. The respolution I am using is my usual one of 1280x1024 (monitors
native res).
