When attempting to add my MS Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000 using the Add
Bluetooth Device Wizard with my device setup and ready to be found it cannot
be found.

Also when I go to Bluetooth Devices > Options and select "Turn Discovery On"
and click "Ok" or "Apply" I get a "Bluetooth Service Error" telling me my
Discoverablity and Connection Settings could not be saved.

It seems to me this should be pretty much dummy proof. And I'm by no means a
dummy.

Can someone help?

Are you using the Bluetooth SUB "receiver" that came with the mouse or
are you using a different one?
