Bluetooth/Logitech Keyboard

The bluetooth keyboard (Logitech) is unable to enter the pin for entry after
startup. The mouse works all of the time. The laptop (T43 bluetooth built
in) is tethered to a HDTV which makes it a pain to walk over and manually
input the login. Also, a pain to do a "discover" for the keyboard on each
use.
Is there anyway to do a set up where the blue tooth for the keyboard is up
and running at login?
