Microsoft Speech works at a sampling rate of 16 kHz. Most Bluetooth
microphones work at a sampling rate of 4 kHz. Even the VXI Bluetooth
B150-GTX, which works with Dragon NaturallySpeaking because the
sampling rate has been tweaked to more closely match Dragon
NaturallySpeaking's 11.025 kHz, will not work with Microsoft Speech in
XP or in Vista.
There are other wireless microphones that will work with Microsoft
speech recognition software. You can see some of these at:

Another problem with most of the Bluetooth headsets is they are
designed for cell phones and the boom of the microphone does not reach
the front of the mouth. This muffles the sounds of your voice when the
boom is against your cheek. 40 audio quality of the cell phone is not
as critical as for speech recognition.
