Bluetooth Desktop battery problems!

Ive had the desktop now for a few months, and its great
(excpet for using up batteries quicker than the duracell
bunny) but the batteries on the mouse ran out two days
ago. I have only just been able to get some fresh ones,
which i installed, and replaced the keyboard ones as
well. However, now the computer just starts up, gets to
the password screen (in XP) and wont respond to any
keyboard or mouse input. Obviously, i cant log in and use
the computer so its very frustrating!!!

Any help would be very VERY appreciated!

Cheers in advance,

Dan
