Hi Dan
There's a fairly comprehensive guide to Bluetooth, focusing on the MS
desktop, on Tom's Hardware site.
http://www.tomshardware.com/consumer...328/index.html
I believe the recommendation is to always use the MS transceiver.
During their tests they were able to successfully connect a Bluetooth
printer (HP as I recall) but had problems with a PDA - seems like the MS
Bluetooth drivers don't have a network ability. The update is supposed to
be included in a forthcoming update to the drivers, hopefully.
There are also some tips in guide on connecting other Bluetooth devices.
Hope that helps
Pete
