Bluetooth/2000/Motorola

I have a Sony laptop running 2000, a Motorola V600 a Belkin blue tooth dongle and a Jabra headset.

My headset talks fine to my phone, but I cannot get the PC-dongle connection talking to my phone. After loading the software and right clicking on the bluetooth icon, it says bluetooth device not found. I have used both the "Find" and "Discovery" function on my phone to no avail. Any ideas

It is Sunday, the Jabra tech support line is closed on the weekends and I am impatient
