Blueparrott USB cord and Vista

Sorry for repetition-all my attempted posts yesterday (two different
browsers and computers) disappeared.

I just got a new BlueParrot B200 VXI headset and B200 USB Cord
adapter. XP recognizes the unit with no problem. Vista (where I
normally work) adds VXI TalkPro USB to the list of audio/video devices
in Device Manager but the device fails to start. The details tab
says:

This device cannot start. (Code 10)

Click 'Check for solutions' to send data about this device to
Microsoft and to see if there is a solution available.

Occasionally when I plug in the USB connection I get:

Device driver software was not successfully installed
VXI TalkPro USB Failed

I've tried rebooting but no luck. BlueParrott is not being very
helpful. Their website gives instructions for using with Vista,
however. Does anyone have the B200 USB Cord adapter working with
Vista? If so, how did you do it?

PS plugging in the BlueParrott USB adapter cord also creates a new
entry in Device Manager under Human Interface Devices but it does not
start and its details tab reports the same error.

One more note on this problem: I've tried updating drivers for both
Device Manager entries but DM reports most recent drivers already
installed. I also ran a DriverAgent scan and it shows that both
entries have the most recent drivers.

Problem solved!

It turns out that BlueParrott has new firmware for their USB adapter
cord unit tucked away in a very obscure place on their website. I
downloaded the new firmware, flashed it in,and Vista is now perfectly
happy with the BlueParrott earphones and adapter. While I was at it,
I also downloaded and installed their latest audio filters for the
unit as well.

For the benefit of anyone having the same problem in the future,
BlueParrott currently has their firmware upgrade at the following
URL:
