Blue screen with Windows XP Home

A few weeks ago I had this problem and it came up with:
DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
The stop was *** STOP 0X000000D1 (0X00000000, 0X00000002, 0X00000000,
0X00000000)

I did several searches and the general opinion was that a memory DIMM
was the problem. I went and bought a new 32Mb pcb and, - replacing
the two existing ones with this one, - they were all 32 Mb, it started
to load up OK. Today it is giving me the same blue screen message. It
will load in safe mode, but I can't do much like that. At that time I
regressed to the last set point. I have tried different DIMMs. Same
problem.

Oh yes, I reset the bios to defaults, too, also as I use this PC off
line in a shed with a printer it is probably a bit out of date with
upgrades, I don't think I can download up grades in safe mode, - can
I? I can arrage a network connection with a bit of work.

Anyone got any ideas, please?

Thanks George

Probably 2 as it has not been updated for months, maybe a year. I can
find out when I go there next.

Thanks George.
