Yeah, I've seen it, and you don't acutually have to be 'using' the
connection, the device simply has to be enabled. We have the luxury
of being able to disable the device and Zero Config service, and that
fixes it for us, but if you actually need it, I'd try getting updated
drivers from the manufacturer. Our company security policy forbids
the use of wireless on corporate assets, so we're sitting pretty until
that policy changes. Wish I could be of more help to you. Just look
for the newest drivers.
