XP SP2

Last night I got the blue screen with the message

bug_usb_driver

since then whenever I power up the PC I can hear the fans going but nothing
else.
There is no beep to indicate Windows is starting up and a message appears on
the monitor saying `no signal`.

Does anyone know what could be causing this.

Thanks

Unless you recently moved the computer and loosened something that you can
fix by checking the connectors, something has failed that requires a
technician to look at. It is not possible to advise you because there is no
way to tell from the symtoms you describe except that it is not Windows.
Take it to a repair shop. It could be the power supply, mobo, cpu, etc. It
is not a drive or the computer would at least POST up.

Thank You Colin.

You have probably noticed i am a bit of a novice but you're longer post got
me looking onto why the PC would not POST up and one of the solutions was to
give the inside a good clean to remove any dust and to remove the memory card
and give the connectors a clean.

Amazingly this has worked and windows is booting up. Just going to have to
hope that the bluescreen does not rear its head again.

We got there in the end so thanks for responding :-)
