Since I received my new Vista Home Premium 64bit notebook, many times when
coming out of standby I receive a Blue Screen with the
"multiple_complete_irp-requests" error. This has been pretty well described
in Microsoft Article ID 930570 and it provides a patch. Unfortunately, as
Microsoft indicates this issue has been solved in SP1 and as I have SP1
installed, when I try to install the patch it answers that this does not
apply to my system and I cannot do it.

Has anyone had a similar Blue Screen problem ? Did someone find a solution ?

If this is a new system, the correct solution is to return it for warranty
repair or replacement.

Thanks for your reply, Richard.
I understand your point but on the other side, it looks that this is a well
known Windows problem that had entity enough to merit a KB article and a
patch. Unfortunately, the problem still hangs on, so it should be revised. I
imagine that there must be a software/firmware solution because I don't
believe this is hardware related. I believe this has something to do with
drivers and x86 and x64 software mixture. Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks again
