Blue screen when installing NSW2003 on Windows XP Home Edition

When I try to install Norton SW2003 on Windows Xp I get a
blue screen with the following:

Kernel_Data_In Page_Error

Tech Info:

What does this mean?, any bad driver? or corrupted system.

I need to install Norton 2003 to protect my computer

please help!
