Hi,

I have recently been experiencing daily crashes with my toshiba laptop. The
blue screen error messages never stay for long but I usually get an error
report via micrsofts error reporting feature.

I seem to have uncovered two problems:
1) unknown device driver - I have opened device manager and gone through all
drivers on my c drive and all are reported to work normally so not sure which
one is the culprit.
2) faulty memory - this is a recent one so not sure what this relates to;
presume its to do with the loaded RAM.

If anyone can offer some advice I would appreciate it as my laptop is slowly
becoming useless while working on the internet.

Thanks,

Garret1977

Try downloading the memory tester from microsoft, usually one downloads
and installs it to a MS-DOS floppy,then boots to a floppy.However i believe
it'll run off a cd also,get it at:http://oca.microsoft.com/en/windiag.asp
Thiers also a fix for xp,filter drivers,kb914882 Also,open C: open windows,
locate "mini-dump" folder,delete it.

The memory is most assuredly RAM. You need to check the memory and replace
faulty chips.
The memory problem could be causing the device driver problems.
