Hi,all

I met a strange problem:

I copy xpe image(post FBA) to my device and boot, it would run into blue
screen error IRQL_LESS_OR_EQUAL. But I run FBA using the same image
configuration and on the same hardwarefrom, it would be OK. How could this
happen?

How are you copying? Are you positive every file on the drive,
including hidden and system, made it over? Are you resealing before
making the clone?

I can't tell you much about resealing, but I can say that you can avoid
it entirely if you use a program like Norton's Ghost software to do the
clone operation -- it works like a charm, assuming that the media
you're writing to is fixed (e.g., not a CD or most flash drives).
We're using Transcend's DOM (Disk On Module), which is really freakin'
cool. It shows up just like a hard drive, but is write-protectable and
fits neatly into the IDE socket right on the motherboard. They cost a
bit more than most flash memory, but they're not prohibitively
expensive. The best part is, deploying a system image takes literally
about 3 minutes, power on to power off.
